May I ask you a question? You look like a pro at ripping Sims hair , so here's my question: how do you, specifically, rip Sims hair? There are lots of Sims hair that I really need, so I just wanted to learn how to do that. thank you for your help!!
Okay so sorry for the late replay >.< Im no pro by any means. Ripping isn't that hard but i warn you before you rip hair. Well it's more of a better suggestion but you dont have to follow it :3 I recommend learning how to make hair on your own. Ripping as cool as it seems is unfair for the person who created it (unless they tell you its ok). It's more rewarding learning how to create your own hair or anything you want to put on a model. Blender is a free program ( I use it ) and you can create hair in that program. (sorry I dont mean to sound pushy or try to make you feel guilty >.<) Anyways you dont need to do all of that. What you want to do is download the file. Then once downloaded you want to open it up with TSRW and extract the textures and mesh. The mesh as an object file. From there you can then take it into any program like meta or blender. Then you can export it as a x file. Make sure you resize it in pmd. After that you should have the mesh in pmd. Remember to always always always credit the creator NOT EA (link back). Once more please credit the creator and if you can ask for permission. Any questions just shoot me a note :3
Awesome!!! To me, making tiny strands of hair on Blender seems challenging, but what are the odds?! And it's ok; I'm ok with the late replies because I make some myself. XD but anyway, you're absolutely fine; you weren't pushy! I have Blender, but I haven't used it yet. I will find a way to use it!! XD but thank you so much for the advice!!!
